Very accurate forecast.

This is a great weather overview app for trip planning, pilots and curious people in general. It displays a wealth of information in a very succint way, the multi-layered mode is very informative presenting all you need to know about multiple weather conditions. The app could use some performance improvements in the network usage, some offline caching would be great too. Best weather app Ive used. Update 1.6: much faster now, and some offline caching too! Five stars. Theres a small bug in that it doesnt save metric units settings on the retina ipad for some reason.

Great app

Can the developer please make a setting that allows the times to be shown in Zulu (Z) time. Instead of only local or the time the iPad is set on. I get tired of having to switch my iPad to Reykjavik, Iceland location so that I can have it show Zulu time. The rest of the app is fantastic for pilots that fly internationally. Its an awesome tool for the big overall picture with forecasting a huge bonus!

Dont waste your money very basic hardly any local information not many options

This is the best and most comprehensive weather map I have ever used. It lets you interpret the information the way you want to, as opposed to packaging an interpretation for you. Well done.

This is a great app. Others have suggested a need for animation but I dont think that is needed. It is the first app I have seen that includes a great deal of data all overlaid for the whole world. Cool..

Best weather app for my use. Diving sailing and prediction

Spectacular weather app! Absolutely the very best I have seen! I use it every day. Would be nice if you could name and save frequently used locations. The detailed wind forecasts are especially useful, as I am a sailor. Keep up the good work! Would be nice to have it on a PC.

We spent 2 weeks cruising the west coast of Vancouver Island, a notoriously challenging area. Using the Sea Buoy data and the layered maps from this app, we properly predicted each weather window for our 90+ mile ocean passages. I dont go offshore without consulting this data!. Recently, I used the app in the San Juan Islands and I could correctly forecast 30+ knot winds and knew to seek protected shelter. This is a must have app if youre on the water.

Nice app... I like the UI a LOT! But... In checking the map and information update log, THIS APP GOES AS MUCH AS 12 HOURS from one weather update to the next!! Most meteorologists will tell you that any weather "map" after 90 minutes - is pretty much useless. Rapid severe weather occurring would make this time even shorter. Hence this can only be a large "continental area weather advisor" (even making city or regional level weather observation problematic at times). Would be totally useless for any quickly occurring hurricanes, tornadoes, or severe rain or snow where wind-direction, speed, and high/low pressure spots effect weather. Very disappointed and confused by this, but hopeful this will be fixed.

These are great global synoptic weather maps. And I really like that the time selection is adjusted to local time rather than GMT. Unfortunately it crashes frequently (iOS 7 iPhone 5s iPad Air) and the UI could use a few tweaks such as: - improve the icons for map layers because light gray on dark gray is difficult to read - more choices for units. I like to see millibars for pressure, knots for wind speed, Fahrenheit for temp, etc. Would like to ability to set the units for each item.
