Great weather maps - UI needs minor work - crashes a lot

These are great global synoptic weather maps. And I really like that the time selection is adjusted to local time rather than GMT.

Unfortunately it crashes frequently (iOS 7 iPhone 5s iPad Air) and the UI could use a few tweaks such as:

- improve the icons for map layers because light gray on dark gray is difficult to read

- more choices for units. I like to see millibars for pressure, knots for wind speed, Fahrenheit for temp, etc. Would like to ability to set the units for each item.
